Nigerian Goat Meat Peppersoup with Cute Agidi | Flo Chinyere

Nigerian Peppersoup is one of my favourite
Nigerian foods. In this video, we will see how to prepare
it with goat meat. I love love my peppersoup with Agidi so I
make some and set it aside to cool down and set.
I got this great tip of making cute agidis with an ice cube tray from 1qfoodplatter blog.
I’ll leave the link to that blog in the description of this video. To make the goat meat pepper soup:
Peel and grind the ehu seeds. To get the classic taste of Nigerian pepper
soups, this is the one ingredient you need. Wash the goat meat and put in a sizeable pot.
Goat meat is a very tough meat so if you have a pressure pot, this is the time to use it.
I love lots of water in my pepper soup but feel free to add less water to yours.
Add the stock cubes and the chunks of onion. When the meat is done, remove the chunks of
onion. I normally use chunks of onion when I don’t
want pieces of onion in what I’m cooking. Add the pepper …
crush the dry uziza leaves and add that too. You can also use scent leaves. Add the ground ehu seeds and salt to taste. Cover and leave to simmer for about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, take out the cute agidis from the ice cube tray. Serve the pepper soup piping hot with the
agidi. That’s it! See you soon!

  1. Hi..your videos don't play anymore in your websites..can you please fix it cause it's my life line cause I can't cook at all so I use your videos!!..Thank you

  2. stock cubes often contain glutamate and other unhealthy stuffs…
just take dried stinging nettle, lovage and parsnip leaves (you can collect them yourself), this is not less tasty but all the more healthy
just a tip for your health

  3. Hello…is not self explanatory enough. how long did you leave the goat meat to cook since you said it is very hard?
