FILIPINO COOKING – TAPIOCA PUDDING


Hi! This is Tita D, and we are going to make tapioca pudding. The ingredients we are going to use are: tapioca pearl. You can buy it at your local Asian supermarket or grocery. It looks like this. They are small. I soaked them in water like this. Warm water. Then we are going to use a 1/2 cup of sugar. 2 cups of water. 1 cup of coconut milk. And then I have salt. 1 *teaspoon*. Then I have some fruits here. These I will use to decorate. I will remove the water. Now I will add the water. Now I will put the sugar and salt. I am going to desolve this. Add the tapioca Then the coconut milk. Use medium heat. Not so warm. After boiling for around 10 minutes the pearls look transparant, and then the pudding is ready. Here it is! You don’t have to use the fruits. It’s optional. Untill next time! Bye bye!
