Aloo Gobhi Methi ki Subzi | Lunch Box Recipe | Dinner Recipe by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi

Hello everyone I am Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi Many times home cooked vegetables are very delicious No doubt they are very healthy, but at the same time they are very unique too I have my home specialty dish called Aloo Gobi Methi also called as Potato cauliflower and Fenugreek leaves In this recipe do not use the stem, use only the leaves Now this is a very unique recipe are it includes green leafy veggies into it, which makes it healthy for our kids And you will be happy too, that your kids are enjoying it So now let’s start making the recipe and look at the process Take a pan and add 2 tbsp oil Add 1 tsp cumin seeds Add 2 chopped onions Saute them well till golden brown till 3-4 mins Here are some ingredients will be needing Take 3 tomato roughly cut in the mixer jar Or you can also finely chop Our puree is ready when onions are golden brown Add 1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste saute for 2 mins Add tomato puree and saute for 3-4 mins Add salt to taste Don’t forget to do namak shamak namak shamak dal dete hai Add 1 & 1/2 tsp red chili powder Add 1 and 1/2 tbsp coriander powder Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder Add 1 tsp garam masala powder Mix well Add 1 potato diced Add 1 Cauliflower cut into florets Mix well and saute for 1 min Add 1 and 1/2 cup water Close the lid and cook for approx 8-10 mins till it gets soft from inside After cooking for approx 8-10 mins this is what the consistency looks like If you prefer to have the consistency more like soup, you can add water as per your choice At this stage we will add the methi or say Fenugreek leaves Mix well and cook till the water contain is dry out After drying out water contain, add 2 tbsp coriander chopped Add 1/2 inch ginger juliennes Mix well and saute You can add desi ghee (optional) Our homestyle aloo gobi methi ki sabzi is ready to plate and serve
