Hello, I am Madhura and welcome to MadhurasRecipe Marathi Today, we will prepare ghavane or tandalache ghavan This is a very popular recipe in coastal area especially in konkan This is a very quick recipe and a very good option for breakfast To start with, I have taken 1 cup rice flour in a bowl Add salt to taste and mix well. Now let’s add water to this. No lumps of rice flour should be formed Add a little water at a time and mix well Here ghavan batter is ready. It should be a bit runny It should be thin so that ghavan will have nice tiny holes or it will have a sort of net I have heated a pan on medium heat. Pan should be enough hot so that ghavan will have nice net Grease the pan well with oil Now let’s pour the rice batter in the pan Every time while pouring the batter into pan mix it well While pouring I will start from the edge and then come to the centre of the pan As pan is maximum hot at the centre and the central part of ghavan is cooked first So I will start pouring the batter from the edge and will end at the centre Here you can see it has got nice tiny holes I will cover this for just about a minute After cooking for about a minute I will remove the lid We don’t need to cover and cook for a longer time Cook it uncovered for about 4-5 minutes I have cooked this for about 3-4 minutes Now, I will flip it over and cook from another side for 2-3 minutes Again I have cooked it for about 2-3 minutes. Flip over Now let’s serve this You can see, ghavan is nice and it has got a nice net In this way, let’s prepare all remaining ghavane Heat the pan, add a bit oil and mix batter before pouring into the pan As the rice flour settles down and water floates up So, mix the batter well again Pan is enough hot. Pour at the edge first and end at the centre Cover and cook for just about a minute And here ghavan are already. You can see they look really nice They have got a nice net from all sides We can prepare 5 medium size ghavane from 1 cup rice flour These gahavn go well with mushroom sabzi or chicken These also go well with peanut chutney or green chutney How did you like today’s recipe?
